Sterile Processing Specialist

Salary: $25 to $30 per hour
Role OverviewAs a Sterile Processing Technician with Next Move Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with surgical staff, nurses, and fellow sterile processing team members to deliver exceptional support and maintain strict sterile practices.
- Perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and functional.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrument functionality and report any equipment malfunctions to maintain seamless surgical procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and standards related to sterile processing and infection control, ensuring compliance and patient safety.
- CRCST certification is required at the time of application.
- Minimum of one year of experience in sterile processing, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.
- High school diploma/GED required; further technical education or training is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile processing equipment is essential.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
