Sterile Processing Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and supplying sterile goods and equipment to all areas within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and supply sterile goods and equipment to all areas within the hospital
  • Ensure appropriate supplies are used in the process of sterilizing items
  • Collect and clean soiled equipment, machines, carts, and shelves
  • Transport needed supplies, medication, and equipment throughout the hospital
Requirements:
  • Credentialed: Successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam and holds and maintains one of the following credentials: Certified Registered Central Service Technician credential or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician credential
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements:

This role requires constant walking, standing, or squatting. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
