About the Role

Yona Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervise and evaluate the quality of work completed by department employees, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast and plan the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring a cost-effective program.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance rounds and inspections to ensure current quality controls and methodologies are suitable and sustainable.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities, ensuring seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a team of housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure excellent performance.
  • Conduct regular management staff meetings and communicate with members of other departments to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Monitor and report on departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in facility meetings and committees, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that support the company's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree and equal related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Two years of experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
  • Skilled in motivating and supervising staff members, with excellent interpersonal skills, customer service, and quality attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet established goals and objectives, and interact positively with residents, clients, and other personnel.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work all shifts as needed, lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
