We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient identification and physician orders
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records
- Perform CT and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods
- Operate CT imaging equipment and perform quality control and quality assurance testing
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety
- Ensure STAT requests are relayed to radiologists in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers
