Role Summary:
The selected candidate will engage in thorough investigations related to consumer protection, focusing on allegations of deceptive trade practices, consumer fraud, and other financial misconduct. This position will also involve collaboration with law enforcement agencies when criminal violations are identified.
Compensation:
Annual salary of $53,455.22
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have a minimum of five years of investigative or law enforcement experience. This experience should include at least two years specifically in financial investigations or related fields. A master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in financial crimes, fraud investigations, or white-collar crime.
- Certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) are preferred.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial documents and utilizing investigative software.
