Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at H&H in New Haven, CT.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with our quality management systems and client-specific quality management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our quality management systems and approved client plans
  • Perform regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and submit monthly audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations for corrective action
  • Develop and update auditor training and operating procedures, in collaboration with the Quality Manager
  • Coordinate subconsultant audits and findings with project managers and the Quality Manager
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and project delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or computer science
  • Zero to three years of experience in quality management or QA/QC
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience preparing technical reports
  • Knowledge of engineering project delivery and quality management systems
  • Ability to train and coordinate additional engineering staff for auditing activities
  • Collaboration with the Quality Manager to update and improve quality control and project delivery processes
