About the Position

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly qualified Instructor to teach graduate-level courses in the Master of Arts in Economics program. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles and theories, and the Instructor will play a critical role in delivering this education.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level courses in Microeconomic Theory, Econometrics, Experimental Economics, and Math Economics.
  • Develop and implement assessment instruments, such as problem sets, quizzes, and exams.
  • Maintain consistent communication with students throughout the course session.
  • Meet with students individually or as a class to assist with course material.
  • Enter final course grades in line with University deadlines.
Requirements
  • A Ph.D. in economics.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
