Overview
At Presbyterian Homes & Services, we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Assistant to join our Assisted Living Team at Lake Minnetonka Shores. As a Resident Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality personal care and services to our residents, supporting their Personally Designed Living choices while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional personal care and services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Collaborate with the care team to identify and address resident needs, ensuring a seamless and supportive care experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; we're looking for individuals who share our passion for delivering exceptional care and support.
- Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self-leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate effectively with all customers.
