Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance. This is a part-time position working evening shifts, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Obtain and record vital signs, and provide psychosocial support to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for residents
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
