Certified Nursing Assistant

At the Good Samaritan Society, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
