Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase our signature steaks and other culinary delights
- Lead a team of cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of ingredients and supplies to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Ruths Chris standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute special events, promotions, and menu launches
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve our menu offerings and kitchen operations
- Extensive experience in high-volume, upscale restaurant environments
- Formal culinary training and education preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lift, handle, and carry heavy objects, as well as work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
