Duncan Office Administrator

Shealy Truck Centers is a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to 1932. We are a full-service truck dealership representing Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, Cummins, and TICO, as well as Clark & Clement Trailers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Truck Center Accounting Specialist to join our team in Duncan. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of accounting duties, maintaining control of office keys and security systems, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the truck center.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Ensure all assigned accounting duties are performed accurately (AP/AR), on schedule, and in accordance with company policy.
- Assure departments follow proper accounting procedures and report any problems to department heads.
- Oversee credit and collection activities to ensure they are performed in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain control of office keys and security systems.
- Maintain employee files.
- Ensure all paperwork for new employees is correctly completed and forwarded to Columbia immediately for setup.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in an office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and phone systems.
- Ability to maintain sensitive confidential information professionally.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
