Our Risk Engineering team is looking for exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which offers valuable opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as promising career paths.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
  • Consult with clients regarding solutions to identified property risk engineering challenges.
  • Assist in generating technical property risk engineering reports and related documentation in conjunction with field inspections.
  • Contribute to various risk engineering projects.
  • Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, including pre-screening and interaction with agents, underwriters, and other Risk Analysts.
  • Support the review of renewal business, providing technical assistance to underwriting staff, insureds, and agents; reviewing risk engineering reports; and monitoring compliance with risk engineering recommendations.
  • Participate in project work that may involve planning, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, process efficiency assessment, data analysis, research, and presenting recommendations.
  • Create and deliver a final presentation for management and leadership at the conclusion of the internship, highlighting your accomplishments throughout the summer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship program.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers to ensure efficient processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
