Your Role:
As a vital member of our diverse team of engineers and technicians, you will play a crucial role in the engineering and testing services that support the evaluation, analysis, and production of materials and processes for various spaceflight systems. Your contributions will directly influence the future of space exploration, requiring a meticulous focus on safety and repeatability in spaceflight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Offer specialized knowledge in cleaning and contamination control within a spacecraft manufacturing setting.
- Develop and refine processes and protocols for Precision Cleaning, Clean Rooms, and Controlled work areas, including layout design, tooling, and equipment setup.
- Provide ongoing support to the production of Blue Origin space vehicle systems, emphasizing precision cleaning and contamination management.
- Engage in the creation and enhancement of new process specifications and procedures.
- Assist in resolving non-conformance issues through evaluation and development of disposition strategies.
- Conduct failure analysis of materials and perform root cause corrective action analysis of processes.
- Collaborate with design and operations teams on maintenance and refurbishment activities, including operational maintenance requirements and standard repair development.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts and findings to program, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline (materials, chemical, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, etc.) or physical sciences from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with AMS 2700, IEST-STD-CC1246E, and ISO 14644 standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of precision cleaning processes and contamination control practices.
- Understanding of operational and facility requirements supporting contamination control throughout a product lifecycle.
- Experience in reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to provide insights for production and operations personnel.
- Ability to develop technical processes and qualifications for production scaling.
- Proven experience in operations support, addressing real-time requests and delivering high-quality results.
- Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities while effectively communicating risks and issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across various locations.
- A commitment to fostering trust, maintaining positive relationships, and contributing to an inclusive culture.
- A mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or physical sciences from an accredited institution.
- At least 3 years of experience in the fabrication, application, and evaluation of aerospace materials and products.
- Experience in resolving non-conformances and developing standard repair procedures.
- Familiarity with additional materials technologies beyond contamination control, including corrosion control, adhesive bonding, and structural assembly.
- Knowledge of testing and characterization methods for both metallic and non-metallic materials.
