Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Weekend Day Shift

This is a Weekend Dayshift Crew position that requires ONLY WORK THREE DAYS. The role is Paid Full Time with Benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide various support to the overall facility maintenance, including support for the production lines, installation, fabrication, troubleshooting, repair, movement, and maintenance of a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems.
  • Apply one or more craft skills, such as mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and machining, to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems at a journeyman level.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and systems, such as motors, pumps, piping systems, conveyor systems, furnaces, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, chemical tanks, PLCs, production machinery, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Install new machinery and equipment and move machinery and equipment to affect layout changes as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities of all types, including dismantling, reassembling, and critical adjustment, lubrication, and/or calibration.

Requirements:

  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of electronics, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, machining, and mechanical theory and pneumatics.
  • Previous experience supporting an industrial fluid application facility is preferable.
  • Strong oral and written communication, excellent computer skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work requirements, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must maintain and account for assigned tools and equipment.
  • Must have a valid Forklift Operator's license or pass required training.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred - Certification in electronics, electrical, HVAC, machining, and/or mechanical theory.
  • 3-5 years' experience in general production maintenance, including craft skills, to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems at journeyman level.
