Key Responsibilities- Apply electrical, mechanical, and welding skills to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems at a journeyman level.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment and systems, including motors, pumps, piping systems, conveyor systems, furnaces, exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, chemical tanks, PLCs, production machinery, and instrumentation equipment.
- Install new machinery and equipment, and move machinery and equipment to affect layout changes as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities, including dismantling, re-assembly, lubrication, and calibration of equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical, HVAC, hydraulics, machining, and mechanical theory.
- Previous experience supporting an industrial fluid application facility is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work requirements, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid Forklift Operator's license or pass required training.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred - Certification in electronics, electrical, HVAC, machining, and/or mechanical theory.
- 3-5 years experience in general production maintenance, including craft skills (i.e., mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move, and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings, and systems at the journeyman level.
