Overview:
The MD Anderson Center is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer in Digital Pathology to contribute to the development of AI technologies for cancer diagnosis and treatment. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with researchers and clinicians to design and implement AI solutions that improve patient outcomes.

About the Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying machine learning algorithms to analyze medical images, as well as prioritizing and managing multiple projects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results. Your excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others will be essential in addressing the needs of our research team and implementing AI technology in oncology.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain computational infrastructure and analytic pipelines for large-scale data analysis.
  • Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to design experiments and collect high-quality data for machine learning models.
  • Implement key performance metrics to evaluate the accuracy of image processing and provide insights for improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Three years of experience in scientific software development or industry analysis; Master's degree requires one year of experience, while a PhD requires no experience.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year.
