Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship

The University of California Los Angeles is seeking highly qualified radiologists to participate in a comprehensive Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship program. This esteemed program is designed to equip graduating radiologists with the expertise and skills necessary to excel in specialized cardiothoracic radiology.

Program Highlights
  • 12 highly experienced Cardiothoracic faculty members actively interact with multiple clinical sections, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to disease.
  • Thoracic training expands beyond routine training to include proficiency in lung cancer screening, ILD, and MRI.
  • Hands-on experience with thoracic interventions, including lung biopsies and ablation.
  • Cardiovascular teaching includes the review of cardiac and vascular CT and MRI studies of all territories.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced image processing software and participate in a high number of coronary CT angiograms daily.
Program Details

The program offers a total of 4 fellowship positions for the academic year. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The salary for this position is $74,800 minimum - $89,575 maximum for PGY6. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
