  • Operate PET scanners and related equipment with precision and accuracy, adhering to radiation safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner, ensuring excellent patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to perform imaging and interventional procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast as needed.
  • Provide clear and compassionate guidance to patients throughout the exam process, addressing their questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing and responding to any signs of discomfort or medical issues.
  • Respond to physician inquiries and needs regarding patient care, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient property and health information, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by demonstrating professional behavior, respect for colleagues, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, along with State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience, preferably in a nuclear medicine setting.
