Financial Operations Specialist

As a Financial Operations Specialist at United Counseling Services, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date payer information, processing timely and accurate bills, and ensuring the receipt of payments from third-party and Medicare payers. You will also be responsible for investigating and resolving denials, monitoring delinquent balances, and providing detailed documentation for billing adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
Process third-party and Medicare statements, including creation of HIPAA-compliant electronic files and direct online claims submission
Investigate and update payer information, process payments, and reconcile payment reports
Monitor timely receipt of payments and investigate denials
Review delinquent balances and resolve with appropriate action
Provide detailed documentation for billing adjustments
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience
Computer skills required
