About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Leader to establish and build a thriving Civil Engineering Practice in our Sacramento office. As a key member of our team, you will lead business development and marketing efforts, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to provide exceptional client service and sustainable growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of business growth strategies for the Civil Engineering Practice
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, developers, architects, and regulatory agencies
  • Develop and manage project proposals, bids, and contracts
  • Collaborate with other practices within CEC to provide integrated client services
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse professional staff providing technical oversight and project management services
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong background in business development and practice management
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and a California Professional Civil Engineer License
  • Local connections and an existing professional network with developers, architects, businesses, clients, regulatory agencies, etc.
