We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Production Supervisor to join our team at GRUMA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Production Teams: Direct and coordinate the activities of production teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Ensure Quality and Safety Standards: Verify that all production activities conform to product specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Manage Production Parameters: Monitor and control production parameters to ensure they are within planned budgets.
- Communicate with Team Members: Effectively communicate with team members, department managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform Shift Reports and Audits: Conduct shift reports and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Resolve Conflicts and Issues: Resolve conflicts and issues in a fair and timely manner to maintain a positive work environment.
- Monitor and Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. 3 years of production experience in a manufacturing plant required; bakery or food/beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Experience in manufacturing supervisory role with a proven track record in leading manufacturing teams. Bilingual Spanish/English required. Experience with quality systems and programs, good manufacturing practices, and lean manufacturing.
- Competitive Salary: $75,000-$78,500 annually plus $3,000 bonus.
- Benefits Package: Health, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and flexible spending accounts.
- Relocation Assistance: Eligible for relocation assistance.
