Job Description: As an Inpatient Hematology BMT Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing hematologic-oncology treatments, autologous and allogeneic blood and marrow transplantation, and CAR T-cell therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Manage central venous access devices, spinal drains, and radiation implants.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider or ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Fundamentals Provider.
- Registered Nurse Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
