Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Administrator to join our team at our Portland Service Center in Oregon. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple programs simultaneously, ensuring their success within assigned regions.

About the Role

This position involves supervising Residential Administrators and documenting supervision activities. You may also be required to temporarily step into a Residential Administrator role in cases of vacancy or leave of absence. Confidentiality is essential in this role, and you must maintain professional secrecy regarding personnel, client, and program information.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills, program planning and budgeting expertise, fiscal management abilities, and proficiency in supervising staff and personnel management. They should also have experience in program management, performance assessment, data utilization, reporting, evaluation, quality assurance, and community resource development.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. This requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science: psychology, counseling, social work, human development, or related field;
    • Minimum three years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
    • Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training.
  • Must have three years of residential treatment program managerial experience in a behavioral health setting. Preference will be given to candidates with experience managing multiple facilities and/or programs.

If not already registered as a QMHA, we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire. A valid Oregon driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check are also essential.

Vocational Training Program

ColumbiaCare offers a vocational training program for employees starting as a QMHA-R. This optional program accelerates training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for certification as a QMHA-I, which can be achieved in as little as six months.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent sitting, talking, listening, and using hands and fingers. Occasional walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, squatting/kneeling, and lifting up to 20 pounds may also be necessary. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
