Academic Researcher Position at the University of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified Academic Researcher to join the Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism. As a Professor, you will be part of a vibrant research environment and contribute to building the new state-supported Institute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an outstanding research program focused on the biology of aging and metabolism.
- Teach a minimum of 50% of one lecture course per academic year in the graduate and/or medical school.
- Participate in institute seminars, colloquia, faculty meetings, and serve on committees.
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
Requirements:
- Ph.D., M.D., D.V.M., or other advanced degree in a biomedical discipline.
- Track record of independent funding, preferably from the National Institute on Aging.
