We are seeking a highly skilled medical geneticist to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a full-time tenured Associate Professor or Professor, you will provide expert care for children and adults with genetic conditions and inborn errors of metabolism in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing clinical teaching and research opportunities. You will be part of a large academic department with over 100 full-time faculty and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The successful candidate will have active ABMG candidate status or certification as a clinical geneticist and/or clinical biochemical geneticist, and be committed to maintaining certification.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care for children and adults with genetic conditions and inborn errors of metabolism
- Participate in clinical teaching and research opportunities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical genetics
- ABMG active candidate status or certification as a clinical geneticist and/or clinical biochemical geneticist
- Commitment to maintaining certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
