With over six decades of experience, we specialize in designing and building custom automated equipment, robotic work cells, and material handling systems used across diverse industries such as automotive, oil & gas, steel processing, tube manufacturing, and billet forging.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Controls Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing electrical designs, specifying electrical-mechanical components, and creating control systems for our innovative machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering and machine building personnel to develop comprehensive electrical designs and specify the necessary electrical-mechanical components.
  • Create detailed schematics and program logic for automated machine movements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot existing systems and programming logic to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Contribute to the commissioning of new equipment systems at customer sites, providing on-site support as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Technical degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer IT knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming (AB RS-LOGIX) and HMI development using AB Factory Talk View.
  • Knowledge of electrical panel design and build principles.
  • Familiarity with CAD systems such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Optional Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Siemens controls and programming.
  • Robotic programming skills.
