Mountain Safety Assistant Manager Overview:
- Accommodation options may be available.
- Expected hourly wage: $28.94.
- Full-time role during the winter season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily team functions.
- Lead safety briefings and morning meetings.
- Recruit and train team members.
- Manage purchasing and financial planning.
- Present safety programs.
- Assist with guest incidents and emergencies.
- Ensure safety for guests and staff on the mountain.
- Uphold resort regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to guests.
- Inspect and maintain safety gear on trails.
- Document incidents and retrieve violator cards.
- Encourage and inspire team members.
Qualifications:
- Advanced skiing/riding capabilities.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Strong management skills.
- Understanding of budgeting processes.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Degree in Outdoor Recreation or relevant experience preferred.
This position offers an hourly wage of $28.94. Compensation decisions are made based on various factors.
