Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at NFP. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and partners in the client service process.

Key Responsibilities

Premium Retention:

  • Proactively identify and notify clients of overdue insurance premiums.
  • Track all attempts and progress in MOSAIC and keep the Relationship Manager and Client Service Associate informed of problematic cases.
  • Interact with clients, Relationship Managers, Client Service Associates, and internal departments to ensure proper and timely execution of client requests.
  • Inform clients on various payment options and facilitate transactions.
  • Research and follow through on information requests and assist with problem resolution.
  • Identify potential new sales opportunities through premium retention communications with clients.

Client Service:

  • Process all insurance policy service requests, including address, beneficiary/ownership changes, premium mode changes, values, loans, and disbursement requests.
  • Run inforce illustrations and create one-pagers as requested by the Partner.
  • Create policy summaries at the request of the Partner for review meetings.
  • Interact daily with insurance carriers and vendors to ensure proper and timely execution of client service requests.
  • Follow through on requests and resolve client and/or service-related matters.
  • Answer calls and emails from clients, gather critical information, assess the type of inquiry, and determine the level of complexity.
  • Communicate and set the appropriate expectations on the timeline of deliverables and conduct timely follow-ups as needed.
  • Manage and monitor requests within internal systems and refer changes to the carrier while maintaining oversight of delivery for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal business departmental partners to ensure client needs are met and anticipate potential problems.
  • Work with appropriate resources to resolve service inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain business partnerships to ensure service issues are managed proactively, accurately, and effectively.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled feedback, training, and information exchange sessions with key business areas.
  • Ensure data accuracy by routinely updating information in MOSAIC and maintaining client files.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the financial services industry or equivalent combination of education and work experience

License Requirements:

  • Life & Health Preferred

The base salary range for this position is $42,000 - $70,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
