Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Health First Medical Group. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of critically ill patients.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote understanding and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- BSN highly preferred.
- 1 year Level III NICU RN experience preferred.
- Must meet unit specific care requirements.
- Language: Must be able to speak / understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.
- Must have visual acuity and hand–eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
- Must have corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Must be able to lift, turn, pull, push or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted up to 33% of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of assigned shift.
- Must have ability to work in often stressful environment with patients/families at various ages and levels of understanding.
- Must have ability to concentrate on multiple priority activities.
- Must have ability to respond appropriately to life threatening situations.
- Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills.
