Pharmacy Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Oversee the selection, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and asset protection.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members, relaying messages and providing feedback as needed.
- Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings, including 5-minute meetings and weekly check-ins with the Store Manager.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
