Cyber Strategy and Policy Expert Opportunity

Hoplite Group is seeking a part-time Cyber Strategy and Policy Expert to support Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) for SOUTHCOM Partner Nation. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in developing long-term cyber strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a SOUTHCOM partner nation Cyber ICB approach and engagement plan aligned to bilateral strategic priorities.
  • Develop ICB content for virtual and in-person engagements.
  • Facilitate ICB engagements.

Requirements:
  • Strategic Planning: Capability to formulate long-term cyber strategies aligned with organizational or national security objectives.
  • Policy Development: Ability to analyze cybersecurity policies and regulations and to develop new policies or modify existing ones.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in cybersecurity principles, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Cyber laws, regulations, and policies as they relate to cybersecurity.
  • Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Familiarity with interdisciplinary aspects such as international relations, military operations, law enforcement, and intelligence gathering as they pertain to cybersecurity.
  • U.S. Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
