Job Title:

Direct Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents.
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
  • Assist residents with meal preparation and clean-up.
  • Transport residents to appointments, activities, and social events.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
