Cloud Solutions Consultant

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Consultant to accelerate our growing Professional Services business. As a Cloud Solutions Consultant, you will work with customers to design and implement innovative cloud computing solutions, leveraging your expertise in cloud migration, security, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for customers, utilizing AWS services and expertise.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored cloud solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout the cloud migration process.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud migration, security, and infrastructure automation.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with object-oriented languages.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, system, network, and operating system experience.
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer-facing experience, with complex and large-scale project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or military experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for applications, servers, and networks.
  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed.
