Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to assist in the development, curation, and management of content across various social media platforms. This internship is ideal for someone enthusiastic about social media, digital marketing, and content creation, looking to gain practical experience in a vibrant setting. You will report directly to the Social Media Manager.

  • Stay updated on current trends in IG Reels and TikTok, executing relevant concepts swiftly.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts, aiming for 8-10 pieces weekly.
  • Collaborate with our founder to capture in-person content for both paid and organic use.
  • Attend events to gather content as needed.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to create campaign-specific content for social media.
  • Experiment with new recipe content utilizing our herbal products.
  • Assist in editing influencer videos and photos when required.
  • Ensure that our brand voice remains distinct, fun, and engaging across all digital platforms.
  • Present fresh ideas based on the latest trends to the team.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all materials and information.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned, which may involve research on relevant topics.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or recent graduation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with being on camera and featured in social media content.
  • Proficiency in CapCut, Canva, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • A high energy level and motivation to produce content consistently.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to identify and seize content opportunities.
  • A solid understanding of social media platforms and video editing techniques.
  • A passion for wellness and herbal medicine.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Compensation and Commitment

This is a part-time, remote role with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. The salary range is $15-20 per hour, with a minimum commitment of six months. A monthly product stipend is also included.
