Education Systems Specialist

This role requires strong technical expertise in education systems, as well as excellent project management and collaboration skills. You will work closely with a talented team of professionals to design, implement, and evaluate education programs, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of education programs, working closely with USAID staff, local partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments, analyzing education systems and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions to address specific education challenges, leveraging global best practices and lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with external partners to build capacity and promote knowledge sharing on education systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, International Development, or a related field, plus six years of professional experience, or Master's degree with four years of experience.
  • Proven experience in education programming, with a focus on systems strengthening and capacity building.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with people within and across departments in a diverse environment.

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 USD per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
