About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at SBS CyberSecurity, LLC. As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve and maintain a proactive cybersecurity mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients on regulatory issues and concerns related to regulatory and legal compliance
  • Provide expert consulting services on IT risk assessment, IT audit, IT/IS policy development, disaster recovery/business continuity planning, documentation, and testing, incident response planning, documentation, and testing, social engineering assessments, security awareness training, and technical network scanning, including vulnerability assessment
  • Assist clients through regulatory IT examination processes by providing expert consulting before and after the examination
  • Communicate technical knowledge to technical and non-technical customers, including Senior Management and the Board of Directors
  • Facilitate project management within accounts by utilizing management techniques, such as regular communication and strong relationship-building skills, as well as creating and managing accounts to meet regular, ongoing work-plans
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity/information security, including consulting, auditing, management, managed services, and support of US-based financial institutions
  • Preferred to hold 1 or more industry-related certification(s), such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or additional certifications or credentials offered by similar certification organizations
  • A valid driver's license is also required
