Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at HZ Coffee Group LLC. As a key member of our restaurant leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager, Shift leaders, and Team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitable top-line sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with Dunkin' standards, franchisee policies, and procedures.
  • Lead team meetings and oversee Brand Training Programs, including scheduling, training, validating, and certifying team and shift lead staff.
  • Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed, and create a guest-focused culture in the restaurant.
  • Review guest feedback results and implement action plans to drive improvement, and communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to restaurant team members.
  • Execute new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling, and maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Control costs to maximize profitability, complete inventory on a periodic basis, and support the Restaurant Manager in completing the weekly labor schedule and assigning staff and deployment.
Management Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop restaurant team members, and assist with team and shift lead performance appraisal processes.
  • Coach restaurant team members to drive sales, improve profitability, and guest satisfaction, and engage with Dunkin' Brands Field Operations team as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills, fluent in spoken and written English, and basic math and financial management.
  • Previous leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality, and good analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrate honesty and a positive attitude, and willingness to learn and embrace change.
  • Ability to train and develop a team, and guest-focused with strong time management and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions

Standing on feet, repetitive motion including bending, stooping, and reaching, lifting packages (if applicable), wearing a headset (if applicable), and working in a small space.
