The selected Physical Therapist will have the opportunity to develop an innovative physical therapy program within our Wellness Center. This department is dedicated to emphasizing preventative and regenerative healthcare to enhance healthy aging and longevity.
The Wellness Center and Physical Therapy initiative will integrate cutting-edge technology, including DEXA scans, metabolic exercise assessments, resting energy expenditure evaluations, hyperbaric treatments, stem cell research, and advanced fitness facilities.
We seek a dedicated physical therapist who is committed to elevating both their department and the Wellness Center to new heights of excellence for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design personalized, fitness-oriented healthcare programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Administer medically prescribed physical therapy interventions aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
- Provide educational resources on injury prevention, ergonomics, and strategies to promote physical well-being.
- Utilize hands-on therapeutic techniques, such as massage, to relieve discomfort and stimulate healing.
- Guide patients and their families on at-home treatment options and outline expectations for the recovery journey.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care history.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of physical therapy patients in accordance with APTA standards and state regulations.
- Document patient progress following established medical and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure a clean, organized, and effective rehabilitation environment.
- Assess patient mobility, strength, and functional capabilities, setting realistic goals for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Current knowledge of treatment methodologies.
- Proficient in professional-level report writing and correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
