Job Title: Behavior Specialist - Schools

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team in a school setting. As a Behavior Specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans that promote positive changes in student behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Behavior Assessment & Plan Development:
    • Assess individual student needs and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to each student's unique circumstances.
    • Develop strategies to help students overcome obstacles and improve their behavior.
  • Direct Student Support:
    • Provide direct interventions to students, addressing specific behavioral issues and monitoring progress.
  • Staff Training & Collaboration:
    • Train and guide teachers, counselors, and other staff on how to implement behavior plans effectively.
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Monitoring & Adjusting Plans:
    • Continuously track the progress of behavior plans and adjust as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • BCBA certification required.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Behavior Specialist or in a related field.
