As a Public Area Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Public Area Housekeeping department, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas and public restrooms throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of public areas and public restrooms, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including Casino Shift Managers, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and coach team member performance, setting the example in cleaning and assisting team members as needed.
  • Inspect and check public areas regularly, providing positive feedback or making immediate corrections as necessary.
  • Ensure daily and hourly cleaning of vertical and horizontal surfaces, tile, stone, carpet, and mirrors in F&B, casino, and common areas.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, coordinating event cleaning, and various deep cleaning projects.
  • Perform other cleaning and event duties as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a casino, resort, or hotel environment, with a proven track record of obtaining outstanding cleaning results.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large deep cleaning projects.
  • Knowledge of major cleaning equipment operations, procedures, and methods.
