Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at AmeriCold Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing supervisors in multiple functions and shifts in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational safety laws and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and improve procedures and KPIs related to product handling and customer service
  • Perform regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Assist in management responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • Submit reports on a timely basis and maintain operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Develop and revise standard operational and working practices
  • Monitor progress towards goals and provide reports
  • Ensure a safe work environment and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and review and adjust WMS for tracked hours and job code approvals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three years supervisory experience
  • Associate's Degree (A.A.) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage effectively and communicate with a variety of individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff
