Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at NR Consulting. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work activities and duties to maintain facilities and equipment
  • Inspect, repair, replace, service, and maintain existing electromechanical systems, including electrical systems, motors, control equipment, light fixtures, and panels
  • Conduct electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits
  • Understand and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly diagrams
  • Ensure the safe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
  • Maintain necessary records and documents of work performed
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Years of Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience
Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of electromechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
  • Experience working within a team environment and ability to adapt to changes in work requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
