Medical Staff Director

Job Summary

As a Director of Medical Staff at Marriott, you will be responsible for managing security and loss prevention operations on a daily basis. This includes protecting property assets, employees, guests, and property, as well as accident and fire prevention and response. You will maintain logs, certifications, and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Your goal will be to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency procedures.
  • Conduct investigations of all losses of property assets and refer to proper management for disposition.
  • Deploy security staff to effectively monitor and protect property assets.
  • Comply with all Corporate Loss Prevention safety and security management guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiate with others.
  • Implement action plans to monitor and control risk.
  • Provide means for obtaining necessary medical attention on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in security or loss prevention or a related professional area.
  • 2 years of experience in security or loss prevention or a related professional area.
