Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, rotating products, and sanitizing equipment.
- Merchandise the front service case, including arranging products, creating visually appealing displays, and maintaining a clean and organized appearance.
- Assist with ordering and receiving meat products, including unloading and stocking inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with sales events and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a meat department or retail environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Meat Department Specialist will work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and machine noise. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a smoke-free facility and maintain a positive attitude in a multifaceted and fast-paced environment.
