- Maintains essential core competencies to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Adheres to established Policies and Procedures, including dress code and professional conduct.
- Demonstrates professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with patients, visitors, staff, and medical personnel.
- Possesses a solid understanding of insurance requirements, including referrals and billing practices.
- Has a general knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10.
- Facilitates claims resolution by effectively communicating with insurance providers via phone or email.
- Handles patient payments, ensuring clarity and understanding of billing statements for patients.
- Performs various clerical tasks, including answering phones and assisting patients at the front desk.
