Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine menus and Daily Food Production Records for preparation guidelines.
  • Craft meals that are not only nutritious but also visually appealing and in line with our culinary standards.
  • Follow established protocols for food storage, including proper covering, dating, and labeling.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen post-meal service, adhering to the cleaning schedule for all areas, including equipment and surfaces.
  • Participate in onboarding, annual training, and team meetings as required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Culinary Services Director or Sous Chef.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • At least two years of experience in institutional or full-service culinary environments.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Possession of a valid food handler's permit and any necessary certifications as mandated by local regulations.
  • Understanding of food safety protocols, including temperature control and sanitation practices.
  • Compliance with health-related requirements as stipulated by local authorities.
