RN Float Pool Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various units within the hospital, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.
- Float to various units, including Medical/Oncology, Surgical/Orthopedic, Telemetry, and Inpatient Rehabilitation, to support patient care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license required.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of current RN hospital Medical/Surgical experience or Medical/Telemetry experience is required for the Float Pool.

Our Outpatient Services include a Surgery Center, Advanced Wound Care Center, Pain Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Imaging, and Rehab. We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
