Position Summary
The Security Technician plays a crucial role in the deployment and maintenance of access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-exempt
Key Duties
- Install, maintain, and service a range of Intrusion Detection, Surveillance, and Access Control Systems.
- Set up cabling for various low-voltage systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on systems and their components.
- Work autonomously or collaboratively to implement small-scale access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Interpret work orders and system tickets effectively.
- Provide training and guidance to junior installation technicians.
- Read and comprehend CAD drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.
- Utilize voltmeters, ohm meters, butt sets, and tone generators proficiently.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical role.
- Clean background check, including criminal and driving records.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with construction environments, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Motivated, team-oriented, and quick to learn.
Work Requirements
- Proficient in using hand tools, meters, and other industry-related equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders and operate lifts.
- Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work onsite.

Compensation begins at $19+/hour (dependent on experience).
