Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering prints or blueprints and set dies and settings according to specifications to ensure high-quality output.
  • Inspect metal fabrication machinery, install, align, and secure punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures in machine rams or beds using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment utilizing machinery such as form presses, sheet liners, brake presses, or punch presses.
  • Or, prior experience operating CNC computer-operated presses or lasers.
  • Proficiency in using and understanding various measuring tools to verify adherence to specifications, including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, protractors, and templates.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum 10 hours) on a concrete surface.
